New Creation - De la Mer
New Creation - De la Mer
So I am throwing this build onto the blog because it has been sitting in my world forever. No backstory or details yet, I am likely going to do that and other images after I finish my santa house and after the holidays in general lol. For now there is only a title, De la Mer (Of the Sea). It is meant to be a modern beach house. Enjoy :)

Main Text –
This is a library that was requested by Joria. She had detailed that she wanted a fantasy-like build and since I was very unfamiliar with this style, I thought I would try it out. I titled this creation Joria Fleuri (Joria’s Bloom). In any case, let me know what you guys think and enjoy :)
Backstory –
In Autumn of 2007, a lonely barge sailed amidst the gentle blue embrace of the sea. Eccentric billionaire Nore Negonc had gathered a dashing crew of adventurers and had set sail four months ago in search of a mystical island where the inhabitants rode giant seashells and danced with dolphins in the velvety glow of the waning sun. But with no land in site, even Nore’s most adventurous mates had grown weary. Of course it is at times like these that one is most likely to find land Nore thought to himself. He leaned sideways and listened for the familiar cry from the lookout. Nothing. Resigned, he waddled his way below deck and off to the land of dreams.
His dream that night was most enjoyable. The entire crew was running around as they had finally seen the small sliver of land on the horizon. He could hear the soft noise of oar hitting water as they bound forward. He could taste the salt in the air. He could even feel the sun’s heat on his eyes as he looked ahead. He had to look away and it took him several moments to realize… he was dreaming no longer. There she was, straight ahead, land.
The tales of Nore’s adventures on this island are many, but for now we will focus on one. While rumors of the inhabitants were exaggerated there was indeed something otherworldly about them. Among them was a young man, Cien Libre, to whom Nore had immediately taken a liking. His thirst for knowledge was admirably refreshing, as he read every single one of the books Nore had brought along with him in his small library on deck. Moved, Nore and his crew worked day and night to build a small library for the villagers of the island. He called it Joria’s Bloom, after the founder, whose kindness would soon not be forgotten.

The famous Nore at last!
So, I know all of you have been wondering what the famous Nore Negonc, eccentric billionaire looks like. Who is that man behind all those stories. Well, the wait is over!
Ok I know, I know, how can an infant do all the things from the stories. Well, how is foundation automagically lit, and how do sims summon their cars from their garage! I had to base my creations on the little guy, I mean, how adorkable is he! I even used NRaas's MC to leave him in the toddler stage... forever! <.<

Castle in the Clouds
So some of you readers might be aware of the Let's Build a House effort over at Carl's site. They had created such a wonderful house that I thought it would be a nice idea to start another such effort. After getting the all good from Carl and the creators of Let's Build a House, I started The Builder's Summit with this shell house, Le Château aux Nuages (Castle in the Clouds). The basic idea is the same so head over to Carl's forums or leave a comment here if you are interested :)

Title – Gout de la Musique
Lot Size – 5 by 5
Lot Cost – Furnished – 387,159, Unfurnished – 158,084
Main Text –
Well here is the second in my series of houses and other lots. As with the first (titled Maison Chouette), this one also breaks some CFE rules … or a lot. I titled this house Gout de la Musique (The Taste of Music). As with Maison Chouette, if any world builders out there are looking for someone with whom to work in lot creation, I would be interested. I was originally going to try building an entire world, but alas the create a world tool is not for macs. After seeing and utilizing many of the wonderful housing and building creations on this site, including the beautiful Charlton Island where my sims currently reside, I thought maybe it was time to do something in return. Hence this series of what I … think… are unique houses.
Backstory –
In late 2004, eccentric billionaire Nore Negonc fell in love with a celebrated cellist and orchestra conductor, Caronie de Celoire. Though she did not return Nore’s feelings, he built a house in her honor where he would sometimes go to remind him of her otherworldly music. Thus was built Gout de la Musique.

Title – Le Guetter
Lot Size – 40 by 40
Lot Cost – Furnished – 326,741, Unfurnished – 132,516
Main Text –
Before I start with the story of this house, as usual if there are any world builders out there looking for someone with whom to collaborate on lots and architecture and like my creations, let me know, I would be most interested. The series I am creating now does not have any general themes (although because I am not very creative with titles, they will all be given French names so I don’t think too long about it hah) but it will be breaking a few CFE rules and focusing on details. This latest house is most certainly my most intricate one yet. Titled Le Guetter (The Watcher), it was built on a smaller lot than usual since I know not everyone likes giant lots.
Backstory –
In the fall of 2001, eccentric billionaire Nore Negonc thought it might be time to go back to school. Having recently amassed his fortune, Nore Negonc endowed a generously sized library to the Llamaworts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a small token of his admiration. Coincidentally, he was also that same semester invited to start studying at the school. After being sorted into House Llamahoof he decided the house’s living quarters needed to be rebuilt. He immediately thought to style it after one of his favorite mythical creatures. Thus was created Le Guetter, where generations of Llamahoofs study the ancient arts of magic and collaborate to win the House Gold each year.
